What is the Greece Golden Visa?

The Greece Golden Visa is a residency by investment program launched in 2013. This program allows non-EU nationals and their family members to obtain an EU residency by making an investment of at least €250,000 in Greece – the lowest residency by investment visa threshold in the EU.

The applicants that fulfill the program conditions will initially receive a 5-year residency which can be renewed indefinitely for as long as they keep the investment, with no need to reside in Greece.

Who qualifies for the Golden Visa?

All non-EU nationals over 18 are eligible to apply for the Golden Visa Program. In the application can also be included the investor’s spouse, unmarried dependent children up to age 24, and the dependent parents of both spouses.

The applicant should also meet the following criteria to be eligible for the Greece Golden Visa Program:

  • Have a clean criminal record
  • Have medical insurance for themselves and their family members
